Charles J. G. Brown

Mr. Brown is a Managing Partner located in our Richmond, VA office.

Before joining Lindsey & Company, Mr. Brown worked for 35 years in the financial services industry. For most of his career he worked for Johnson & Higgins and Marsh and McLennan in New York and Richmond, where he was an officer in the financial and professional services group.

Mr. Brown has extensive experience in analyzing corporate business risk and negotiating pricing and coverage on behalf of clients. He has also worked to provide creative risk management solutions in response to corporate restructuring. Mr. Brown had extensive involvement in the recruitment and training of new executives throughout his career.

Mr. Brown began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York where he handled the bank's business in the National Division, Southern District of the USA.

Mr. Brown graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He and his wife Laura have three grown children and currently reside in Richmond.
